Free Medicine?!

…OR at least a discount or savings!

Free Medicine

I thought I would share some “industry knowledge” with you to save you some $$$! I have become coupon crazy myself and am constantly looking for ways to save. I’m always surprised to hear how many people are unaware that most pharmaceutical companies and even the government offer medication assistance. There are several ways to save…Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) or State sponsored programs (qualifications vary state to state). These types of programs usually require some income verification but can result in FREE MEDICINE if approved.

Many people know that their doctor will give them a sample of a prescription to “try before you buy”, but did you know that pharmaceutical companies offer vouchers/coupons/discount savings cards?! Some that may last up to a year of savings!!! So how do you go about finding these great deals you ask?

1- Ask your Doctor/Nurse (they may have some in the office)

2- Go to the branded drug name or pharmaceutical company’s website that makes your prescription (printable coupons)

3- Visit an all knowing website like www.needymeds.org that lets you search to see what programs are available

Hope this helps…would love to hear how you saved :)
