First, very carefully open up the cookie sandwiches and insert the skewer under the icing. Next, melt the candy according to the package instructions. Add a little melted candy for “glue” on top of the skewer and replace top.
Fact: There are more orange pieces in every Reese’s bag! (ok…so maybe it’s not a fact–but it has been my experience! See? I told you–CORNY!)
Fold green streamer to create “corn husk” look…make a “v” shape leaving a tail on one end to wrap around the end of the stick.
Finally, tie a raffia bow and delight your Thanksgiving Day guests…perhaps set one at each place setting or put them all in a vase for your guests to grab? These cookies were a hit at not only the kids’ table but also with the adults. I mean…who doesn’t love a bunch of Vienna Cookies covered in melted chocolate and Reese’s Pieces made to look like some Fall Harvest Corn??
Wishing you and your family a VERY Happy Thanksgiving! If you’re into making cookie pops then you’ll want to check out my Flip Flop Cookie Pop as well. Need a cute craft for the kids’ table? Why not have them make Fingerprint Turkeys while they wait for the main course?
And you know–I’m Thankful for all my Facebook fans…hint, hint :)

This is GREAT! I might try to make this next week with my preschool class. It will be a great addition to the corn craft I have planned.
