Want another way to tell someone you think they’re “berry sweet” or that they’re “the balm”?? Then you’ve come to the right place! If you’re a regular to my blog you may remember my eos Apple project. Well, if turning eos lip balm into fruit is wrong…then I don’t wanna be right!! This is a quick and easy DIY project on how to make eos lip balm strawberries.
How to Make eos Strawberries
First things first–let’s talk supplies. You can pick eos lip balm up at the drugstore, target, grocery–you name it! I also had some ivy leaf florals left over from another project that looked perfect for the tops of the strawberries. Last but not least, a good old black sharpie and a glue gun.
Supplies
- Red eos lip balm
- Ivy leaf florals
- Glue gun
- Black sharpie
While your glue gun is heating up pull apart the leaves you’d like to use for the tops. As you see, I also added the white bubbly part (yeah, that’s definitely an official term I picked up during my time as a Botanist–insert sarcasm here!)
Next, it’s time to draw the seeds. I carefully used my black sharpie to make haphazard tear drop shaped seeds all over the eos. Now the rest is simple math…
Take your strawberry eos with seeds and using your glue gun, add the leaf, then add the white bubbly part (are you really going to argue with a botanist?!) and BOOM! You’ve got an adorable eos Strawberry. But that berry is lonely…you must make more! Repeat as needed.
You seriously are. And you probably have some super awesome friends who are “the balm” or “berry special” …why not make them one?
There you have it–how to make eos strawberries. A simple DIY project you could even do with your kids. Don’t forget: Sharing is caring (translation: PIN away!). And be sure to like my page for more doses of DIY!
