HEY GIRL HEY!
Who is The PharMA??
Glad you asked! Let me tell you a little about myself…well, I am a pharmaceutical rep…I’m also a single mom to 2 amazing little humans! I love my job, and I love making things and being creative. In my “spare time”, you’ll find me sharing my craft tutorials, party ideas, ways to making single parenting easier, blogging tips, and other ways to prescribe everyday DIY fun! Get it?? The PharMA ??
But Seriously–Who is The PharMA??
I was a Theatre Arts major in college and voted “Most Likely to Be Martha Stewart”. Blogging for me has been an outlet for the right side of my brain. Being that I’ve always wanted an alter-ego, naming my blog The PharMA back in 2010 (i.e. Pharmaceutical Rep/Mama) gave me just that! I love to laugh and make people smile (which is why you’ll also stumble upon some silly videos on The PharMA social media pages). As you can see, I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine!
Oh…and did I mention Elf Wars? I must say, my sister and I have created quite the following for our little Elf on the Shelf antics. Love ’em or hate ’em, the Elf has been one of our most favorite holiday traditions for my family of 3.
My projects have been shared and viewed hundreds of thousands of times over the years! Some of my most popular posts include Diaper Babies, S’Mores in a Jar, Olivia Crayon Wreath, Pregnant Skeleton Costume, and my Hedgehog Donut Holes. My work has also been featured on countless online and print publications as seen here:
Needles to say, I just love sharing my passion with the world.
Also, I feel like I should mention my real name…it’s Laura or depending on who you ask it could be Mommy, Mama, Ma, Aunt L, or L.
The PharMA Secret
Now, since we’re friends, I’m going to let you in on a little secret over here at The PharMA Blog…not too many people know this so get in close…a little closer…ok, you ready? I have included my own “Hidden Mickey” in my logo. Did you notice it? Normally, a girl NEVER tells her age, but you’ll find mine included as the “mg” strength included on my logo. It was my clever little way of incorporating my pharmaceutical background and to remind myself that Martha Stewart didn’t start “Martha Stewarting” until she was 38 mg! See what I did there??! I try to update it as the years pass, but some I leave as a reminder of when I created the original DIY project.
