Confession: I love giving gifts. I love finding that perfect something that I know will be “exactly what they wanted”! However, sometimes that is easier said than done. Sometimes I fail, run out of time, and opt for a generic gift card. Phew–That feels good to get off my chest! Now one thing that everyone loves is money…am I right?? But money can feel impersonal…so I thought…and thought…and thought…and being the “creative” type that I am I figured out a way to jazz it up a bit! I invented my own Origami technique (DISCLAIMER: I am no Origami expert!) to make a Tree out of Money…and being the Florida girl that I am, of course it’s an Origami Money Palm Tree!
How to Make an Origami Money Palm Tree
Supplies:
- 4 Crispy bills (I used $5)
- Mini Pot
- Sand colored tissue paper
- Rustic Vine Wreath Wire
- 3 Pennies
- Glue Dots
As you can see…I’m going the “show” not “tell” route…
Repeat 4 times
Add your penny coconuts with glue dots.
It really is that easy! Yes, money doesn’t grow on trees…but you can make a tree out of money! And that’s not the only tree you can make out of money, in addition, you can make a super cute Money Christmas Tree!
A great gift idea for Teachers, Grads, Moms, Dads, Sisters, Brothers, Cousins…your Best Friend’s Sister’s Cousins…you name it! Give them a little piece of Monetary Paradise!! Be sure to sign up for my newsletter or follow me on facebook, instagram, pinterest, or twitter.
