Christmas Money Tree

Money Tree, Christmas Tree made out of Money

How beautiful your branches?! But alas, I cannot take credit for this adorable little Christmas Money Tree-twas given to my husband and I from his employees. What a generous and creative gift, right?!! It is the brainchild of Jennifer G.-she truly is an amazing crafter! I simply had to share some pictures of such a lovely gift–perhaps you know someone who could use a little green? It’s a great last minute gift you can put together with just a handful of supplies.

Jennifer used a small green dowel placed in a pot with floral foam. Christmas ribbon was stuck into the foam at the bottom and topped with a small yellow wooden star.

Four 20s, One 10, and Two 5s (for a total of $100) were folded length wise and then staggered vertically to create the “Christmas Tree Effect”. She meticulously wrapped the bills with floral wire to attach to the dowel. Stinkin’ cute, right? I can’t imagine anyone not liking this gift! You could do just about any amount as long as you stagger up the tree.
