A tiny Bearbucks buddy for anyone with big Pink Bearista dreams and tiny odds of finding the real cup…
If you are counting down to the Pink Bearista Glass Cold Cup launch but have zero hope of getting your hands on one, I made a tiny backup plan!
Meet my DIY Mini Pink Bearista Bag Charm! A teeny pink bear with a strawberry-topped straw, a tiny pink hat, a star charm, and my free Bearbucks custom logo printable.

This little Bearbucks buddy is inspired by the Starbucks pink bearista cup, but it is made to clip onto your purse, backpack, tote bag, or emotional-support water bottle. And unlike the full-size cup, it does not require waking up before sunrise, standing in a coffee-shop line, or emotionally preparing for the words “we sold out.”

Honestly, if the real Pink Bearista glass disappears before I can blink, I will simply be carrying this tiny one around like it was always the plan.
Important note: Bearbucks is an original PharMA printable design inspired by coffee-shop culture. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Starbucks.

How to Make a DIY Mini Pink Bearista Bag Charm
Step 1: Paint the mini hat
Paint the bill of the Barbie-sized baseball hat in a soft Pink Bearista-inspired pink.
I mixed my paint until it had that strawberry-milk, Pink Drink, “this bear has a coffee order” kind of vibe. Let the paint dry completely.
Once dry, apply a thin coat of matte Mod Podge over the pink accents on the hat. Matte Mod Podge seals the paint without adding a super-shiny finish.
Let it dry fully before moving on.
Step 2: Make the tiny pink straw
Cut a short piece of clothesline to fit into the top of the mini plastic bear jar. This will be your tiny straw. (FYI- this clothesline is the perfect size for the straw and it has wire in the middle so it won’t break).
Paint the straw pink and allow the paint to dry completely. Then brush on a thin layer of gloss Mod Podge.

The gloss finish gives the straw that smooth, glass-like shine because even a tiny bear deserves premium drinkware accessories.
Set it aside to dry.
Step 3: Add the strawberry straw topper
Glue a flatback strawberry charm near the top of the pink straw.
This mimics the sweet strawberry detail from the Pink Bearista cup design and adds a little extra tiny-cute energy.
Step 4: Print and apply the Bearbucks waterslide decal
Print the free Bearbucks logo PDF onto your waterslide decal paper.
Then:
- Carefully cut around the printed logo.
- Place the decal in a shallow bowl of water.
- Wait until the decal begins to loosen and slide on the paper backing.
- Position the decal on the front of the mini bear jar.
- Gently slide the backing paper away while holding the decal in place.
- Smooth out water, wrinkles, and air bubbles with a clean finger, cotton swab, or soft paper towel.
- Allow the decal to dry completely before handling the bear jar.

Follow the instructions on your specific waterslide decal paper package for any recommended sealing or curing time.
Step 5: Attach the straw and secure the hat
Next, use an Xacto knife to carefully cut out the top circle of the hat. Feed the finished straw through the hole in the hat.
Next, secure the Barbie hat to the top of the jar using one of these options:
Option 1: Hot glue
Add a small amount of hot glue inside the hat, then press it onto the top of the mini jar.
This is the quickest and most permanent option.
Option 2: Rare earth magnets
Glue a small rare earth magnet underneath the hat and another magnet onto the top of the mini bear jar.
Before gluing, test the magnets first to make sure they attract, not repel. Ask me how I know this is a worthwhile step…
Magnets allow the hat to be removed later, which is ideal if your tiny bear might need seasonal outfits.
Safety note: Rare earth magnets are very strong and can be dangerous if swallowed. Keep them away from small children and pets.

Step 6: Add the star charm and bag clip
Use a jump ring and jewelry pliers to attach a small star charm to the top of the hat or to the bag charm hardware. Attach charm hardware to the top of the straw (behind the strawberry) using a small eyelet screw or hot glue.
Attach your bag clip, and your mini Pink Bearista-inspired bag charm is finished!
Clip it onto a purse, backpack, tote bag, zipper pull, or key ring. Yes, it can also work as a mini keychain…but “bag charm” feels more fitting for this tiny fashionable bear.

Waterslide decal paper is special printable paper used to transfer a small image onto a surface. After printing and cutting out the image, you place it in water. The printed decal loosens and slides off the backing paper so you can apply it to the mini bear jar.
Yes. Although I call it a bag charm because it is especially cute on a purse, backpack, or tote, you can use a keychain clip and attach it to your keys.
For a permanent hat, use hot glue. For the hat the hat to be removable, attach small rare earth magnets under the hat and on the top of the jar.
