Nursery Tour

Ethanroom

TA-DA!!! It’s finally done…and just in time I might add (since our little one will be here ANY time now!). I thought I’d take you on a quick tour of our little boy’s room before I’m tied up for a bit ;) I wanted something modern, relaxing, and different for the nursery–so the theme we came up with is:

Ethanroom

Surprised? Probably not if you have been following my blog or know me personally :) Now follow me and I’ll show you around…

There are a lot of handmade personal touches around the room (such as the name sign made by my sister above the bed!)…but first let’s start with the bedding.

Ethanroom

It’s new from Dwell Studio–called Skyline. I absolutely fell in love with the playfulness of the pattern and started there…it also has coordinating car pillows:

Cute, huh? Which gave me the idea of asking my very talented Dad to make a Skyline for the room out of wood…yep–those buildings are all handmade by my pops! Not to worry…he and my mom will be opening an Etsy shop soon if you like what you see :) He also made the most adorable cars…did you see them in the room shots? Here’s a close up of one:

Wanna see the skyline???

I love that our baby will be able to look up and see this AMAZING Skyline that grandpa made him everynight!

On the other side on the room he made a taller building to use as a height chart…and the picture is an Esty find by MADEbygirl:

More artwork from Esty–this time by Barking Bird Art:

Get it??? “Rockin’ in the City?!” :)

Thanks for checking it out! Now all we need is the baby :)

What colors did you use on the walls? I love that blue and the grey goes so nicely. I’m having a hard time picking a blue I really like for the baby room
